The MONTREAL RECIT is claimed to have been "discovered" in 1844 in Quebec. It is divided into three chapters, each chapter divided into sections. The FIRST CHAPTER, after a preamble by Marquette's Jesuit Superior Claude Dablon, is the NARRATIVE of the 1673 Mississippi.
