Re: Emails me/David Buisseret over my Thesis 1: The Marquette Autograph Map is a Forgery. A search on google shows 59 pages of hits for Dr. David Buisseret, who is familiar with my project. As you can see below, he sent me a January 7th email saying that he would get back to me. He knows that the Marquette Autograph Map is dear to some Catholic affiliated academia and supported by mainstream academia as such. The map, they say, corroborates Marquette having made a voyage of discovery in 1673. If the map is a forgery, then what? It doesn't prove that Marquette didn't make the voyage, but it no longer corroberate that he did. My thesis here is strictly limited to one document, the map.
